just past ulan ude. Still hoping to make the mongol border before it shuts tonight! Couldnt see much of lake baikal because of cloud and mist.

in irkutsk have filled up with fuel and now off to lake baikal now to camp for the night then all being well we'll break for the border tomorrow!

still making our way to irkutsk. Roads are a nightmare again! Roxanne starting to feel the bumps and has developed a misfire and bouts of squeakyness!

just past novosibirsk. Have left the convoy as they are heading for the western border and we are having to go north to make sure we get back in time!

in omsk polo just had a crash so has taken hours to sort out 'paperwork' which was essentially a 65 quid present.off to sleep in an army barracks now! Nice!

just past ufa now heading west over the urals. The magic letter is still doing its job at every police checkpoint we pass!
