Yes, we're back on (semi)good roads and on track. Saw several other teams in and around Siliguri. A tour guide would say: on your right hand you see Bangladesh and on your left hand you see Nepal. We're getting close to the finish. We just had an easy day of some chai zipping, a battery hunt (which ended with a new battery which broke down the same day), some ace photo opportunities, 80s sing alongs and the always good stopovers with incredible encounters with locals. Two more days to the finish line. Just 367 km to go to Shillong!

crossed the Ganges today onto the Main Trans Indian Highyway.... Home of the finest Dusty and rutted pot holes known to man. Rick broke down at sunset so we limped on in the dark with no lights on a prayer maxing 10km/he diving helplessly into cravasses. Found a mechanic at 9pm who waved his magic wand. Vroom vroom

we have seen a number of 2 Dimensional animals today and discovered that Even the Primary of National Highways still adopt a policy of Tarmac optional.!Never the less an incredible breakfast encounter with wonderful villagers left us at the opposite end of the spectrum to our traditional Monday morning state of mind. Thank you India :)

We're never gonna give, never gonna give, give her up, but yesterday we did run around quite a bit. What a day it was. We've got out battery stolen, have driven the shittiest roads of the country, were almost overtaken by curious monkeys, got stroke by thunder, lightning and a hailstorm, had an average speed of 15 thanks to the beautiful mountainous surrounding and had several breakdowns while we where in an aria where barely anyone speaks English. But we know the game and we're gonna play it. New day, bring it on... BACK TO THE HIGHWAY!

RECORD!! We've driven 415 km today! It took us 13 hours, but it was totally worth it.. Chilling between the cockroaches on a plank instead of a mattress in the dodgiest town of India and we even managed to get the worst hostel of the place. There's blood on the floor but granite floors... What else would we need? Happy days!

Our mechanics last night have been a great help! Instead of a max of 40 km/h we're reaching 42 now. We are starting to get some stress if we'll reach Shillong on time like this. But we can't help to love detouring every now and then. And so we ended up to inaugurate to Hinduism and had the best meal ever for 40 rupees (£0,40/€0,48) for all three of us together. Every day it just seems to get better! Never gonna give it up!

New adventures arrive... But this time not for my own sake! No. I'll be running a race for charity. No fun for myself at all. It's gonna be shitty. Driving a Fiat Panda from 2001 over 1/3 of the surface of the world while you can feel every bump on the road. Every day for six weeks stuck with a teammate who will bore the shit out of you. It's gonna be a challange, but for good couse!

Been travelling to easy for too long. Time to challange ones self, mentally, physically, hygenically, languagely, gastromically and financialy

I can't think of anything that excites a greater sense of childlike wonder than to be in a country where you are ignorant of almost everything.

India You're next! :)
