Jakarta Capital Region, Indonesia
In some sort of discotheque in Jakarta. Apparently it's all the rage with the kids. Andy is concerned he hasn't put any sun cream on, despite the fact it's at least 7 hrs until the sun rises again!

just spent 18hours on a truck through central Sumatra with two tuk tuk's bouncing around in the back. Note when the map says highway it actually means dirt tack through the jungle. Currently waiting for the garage to open to repair our engine and Howard's drive shaft. Then 3/4 days to get to Jakarta not gone be much sleeping !!!@

long day repaired the rickshaws in the morning after exiting Medan under the cover of darkness. While the tuk tuk's were being repaired Steve and will went back into medan for another set of radios and some pillows to prevent serious arse pain. After driving for an hour or so we poor Howard started to get a bit I'll so we pulled over and found the clutch cable shaped in the same place as merfainwe so will and Gareth spent 2 hours making a repair only to find the diff playing up after a short tow up the foot hills we found the most amazing mechanic who spent 3 hours repairing Howard, turns out the starter motor was nakered as well as the clutch and the diff was being temperamental. While the tuk tuk's were being repaired we spent the time playing with the local children who were amazing plenty of awesome photos taken. Lying in the only open hotel at 1 am in a mountain town turns out to be an Indonesia 5 star :-)
Medan, Indonesia
picked up the tuk tuk's from the port. Driving in Medan is an experience which has only been enhanced by the lack of brakes and clutch time for some food a few hours kip and some driving to the nearest mechanic !@
