When Alex’s chain snapped the first time on the Monkey Run Morocco a few weeks ago he tried to fix it with duct tape. . When it didn't quite work his brother Yannick gave him a tow. But they didn't have a proper tow rope so they tied two scarves together and that did the trick nicely. Twice. . Yannick recounts fondly, sort of: “I towed him 25km the first time it snapped. A giant week of adventure is over for these monkeys. They forced their 50cc wonder bikes across a big bit of Sahara Desert and over the Atlas Mountains in style and there was only one broken bone.
