Stopping, however, did the exact opposite of cooling the engine as the noise became significantly louder when we did so, to the extent where people at the nearby restaurant who were eating outside on the terrace moved inside. We thought this could be solved with more coolant, so Harry picked us the first blue liquid he saw and poured screen wash into the cooling system. We thought that this was probably not good for the engine thus made ** some text is missing **

Car completely died at a petrol station, looks like we're flying home. Or we would be if we were total pussies; today has been awesome. Started off breaking down at the Latvian border with Russia at midnight, had to push it through the gates with the engine screaming for no reason apparant to us. Once through our lack of sleep and the illegality of having only a single license plate caught up with us resulting in a $40 fine and 6 hours of waiting. However, leaving lights on for this long totally drained the battery, luckily some friendly Romanians gave us a jump and we were on our way. After a very eerie drive through misty Latvia in the morning the car seemed fine, starting normally on the ignition. Until we reach a set of suspiciously long traffic lights at a lengthy set of roadworks in Lithuania where Edd stalled and Flo refused to start resulting in a series of push-starts along a dirt track between tempory traffic lights which included driving in circles while waiting to keep air flowing into the radiator which was definitely far ** some text is missing **
