Training Day

After meeting some the teams lastnight and and having a few too many we had busy day today. Went down and registered. Had our first practice on the rickshaw and my word what the hell are we doing!! Then spent a day walking around town trying to find the things we needed to deck out the shaw. 18km worth of walking..... Time now for a few chilled out beerss.

Shillong!

Stage one sorted! We've made it to the start in shillong, even if I've so far failed at not having drinks with ice, washed salads and local water....

Anyway. A couple of "interesting" flights later, and one taxi ride that really showed us what we've let ourselves in for, and we are here. Lessons learned so far... If you don't use the horn for half a mile, you're driving wrong.

24 hours to go

So it's 24 hours till we make our merry way to India to get royally lost for 20 days or so. Probably more if Shaun can't work out how the compass works.

Instead of preparing like grown ups, we're sat here playing cards against humanity and drinking... So, let's see what happens
