<div><p class="MsoNormal">Fueled by beef jerky, Judas Priest and a healthy dose of ZZ Top, these two bartenders are tired of wrecking peoples' mornings and want to bring a beacon of 4 wheeled awesome and a healthy dose of childrens’ charity to those who need it. We’re Matthew Eiford-Schroeder and Patrick Mayes, a wave of force bringing thunder charity to world by entering the Mongol Rally. The Mongol Rally is an event where teams from across the globe, meet in London, and drive a small car 10,000 miles to Ulaanbaataar, the capital of Mongolia. Upon arrival in Ulaanbaataar, said vehicles are then donated to the Mongolian people in need.</p> <p class="MsoNormal"> </p> <p class="MsoNormal"> We are doing this to raise funds for the Lotus Children’s Centre. The Lotus Children’s Centre is a Mongolian non-profit, non-government organization working with vulnerable children and families to provide the basic human rights of shelter, food and education. They care for up to 150 abused, orphaned and abandoned children at any one time. Initially set up to provide basic needs for survival for just a handful of children in one apartment, Lotus has developed a kindergarten and a primary school to provide educational foundation, and is developing vocational pathways for employment opportunities. We are aiming to raise $10,000 dollars, as well as acquire a vehicle, and supplies for the expedition. In exchange for any monies or supplies provided, we would like to your company logos to be placed on the car itself as well as we will be updating a blog before and during our trip with video and photos thanking our sponsors.
