A few lads from down under that kept in contact from back in the day don't mind a catchup from time to time. Always a an adventure to be had and story's to tell.
This time around, we're going large, 'The Rickshaw Run - Himalaya' in July 2023.

No Eva is a kind soul and she has nominated to support 'Stronghold Rescue & Relief' a charity operating in conflict zones conducting humanitarian efforts to help those civilians who are in harms way, and to assist people to get out or stay out of harms way.
Stronghold Rescue & Releif
Armed conflicts result in mass shortages of the basics needed to sustain human life such as clean water, food, shelter, and proper clothing. The already dangerous circumstances of conflict zones are made worse by the lack of these necessities causing increased human suffering, disease, and unnecessary deaths. One of Stronghold’s key missions is to provide the lacking necessities to families in conflict zones during their times of greatest need. Stronghold sends teams to provide short-term, emergency humanitarian relief in conflict zones. Every conflict zone is unique and may require unique solutions. In some situations water may be scarce, while food is plentiful. In other situations, the opposite may be true. We do our best to provide the most situation-specific relief possible. Populations affected by conflicts often find themselves in refugee camps, slums, or remote villages cut off from the outside world. In these situations, Stronghold invests in sustainable development projects to provide long-term solutions to problems faced by families in conflict zones.
