Getting started...

So...I have two months to go and what have I done...umm well set up a facebook group

[http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=118815824826120#!/group.php?gid=118815824826120&ref=mf](http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=118815824826120#!/group.php?gid=118815824826120&ref=mf)

and a Just Giving

and to be perfectly honest...Not much else! Oh dear. I think I need to get down to some serious training! To be fair, I did start training. Riding (1hr), running (1hr), riding (1hr) and a cycle in the evening... this lasted for four days before I gave up and ran away to Edinburgh. BUT this time, I will succeed with my training program. Plus, I'm sure sunbathing must be beneficial in some way... Preparing my skin for the heat of Mongolia? Yeah, that must be it!

Oh well, my trainers are calling me... I'm not convinced the next three months are going to be as much fun as I anticipated!!

<p>Hello everyone! I figured that my Derby webpage had stood empty for long enough, so it's time to try and fill in SOMETHING at least! Bit of background...Am currently in my last year of uni, and can't wait to get out and jet off to Mongolia in August! I have been riding since I was tiny, and been playing polo for about 8 years which has turned into a bit of an obsession (addiction!?!)</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>A couple of members of my family have done the Mongol Rally in previous years and have been raving about the country ever since, so I can't wait to see what all the fuss is about! I just hope that I'm not going to be too stiff from riding to enjoy the country!! &nbsp;Let the training (and fundraising!!) commence!!&nbsp;</p>
