Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia
What a party. Congrats to all who finished the rally. International flying... YEAH

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia
Made it to the finish line and crossed under our own power! F'n Eh!
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia
Wow. Actually couldn't have gotten closer. Currently 48 km from the finish line being towed by the Dirty Canadians' limping Fiat Punto due to blown head gasket. If we hadn't been lost in Bulgaria...@
Ovorkhangai, Mongolia
Unsuccessful jump-on-camera attempt... try again tomorrow. 200 km of general ridiculousness in 3 car convoy.
Bayanhongor, Mongolia
Blew a coolant hose within minutes of setting off this morning. Patch job in the middle of the desert and it works better than before
Altay, China
Road into Altay literally shaking the car to pieces. It's fun barreling down open tracks at 65mph until the driver door flies open...
Altanteel, Mongolia
Convoy has grown in size. Aiming for Altay... we'll see.
Khovd, Mongolia
Met up with many teams including some Dirty Canadians. Compare car troubles, resupply, and back on the road soon.
Bayan Olgii, Mongolia
Home stretch has officially begun. Camped in border crossing due to lack of a more practical spot.
Biysk, Russia
Short jaunt through Russia. Betty's days are numbered. Here's hoping that number is larger than ten.

We will travel through 17+ countries, cross 3 deserts, and traverse 5 mountain ranges; all with no set route, minimal planning, and even less common sense.

The Rally begins at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in London, England and ends about a month later and over a quarter of the way around the globe in Ulaan Baatar, Mongolia.

The rally starts at the Goodwood Racetrack near London, UK and finishes in Ulaanbataar, Mongolia about 16,000 km away as the drunk crow flies. What happens in between is up to us. Part of the fun of the adventure is finding our own way to Mongolia through some of the harshest driving conditions imaginable: 5 mountain ranges, 3 deserts, bad roads, no roads, limited service opportunities, and very tall language barriers. Our proposed approximate route takes us from the UK through the Alps into Turkey, and then through Iran up to Russia and into Mongolia. For the spirit of adventure pesky aids such as GPS and maps are not recommended, leaving the all the navi-guessing up to interpreting road signs and charades in many unfamiliar languages.

SWEET PICTURE OF A TERRIBLE CAR STUCK IN THE MUD OR SOMETHING
***************************************************************************** end of extra paragraphs -->
