Benjamin

Having grown up with a board game inventor as a father, Benjamin has played board games ever since he was able to hold cards and roll the dice. After his studies in Psychology and Management, he gained valuable experience in business by working for a variety of companies. Benjamin entered the creative and inspiring field of gaming in 2010. Today, Benjamin is one of the Managing Directors at Catan GmbH, a family-run company based in Germany. He read about the Rickshaw Run in a magazine while on his way to visit Pete Fenlon in Virginia. They discussed the idea of joining the Rickshaw Run over a bottle of wine and to his surprise, Pete followed up a few weeks later, confirming that he wanted to join this crazy adventure. Supporting Childaid Network, a charity organization based in his hometown in Frankfurt, Germany, is especially exciting to Benjamin because the team will be able to visit all the supported project sites during their stay in India.

Mario

It may sound like a crazy idea. 10 Catanimals traveling through the northern part of India on Motor-Rickshaws. But if the reason for such a journey is the support for a great humanitarian project like Child Aid Network, that idea may sound a little less crazy.

Child Aid

Child Aid Network is engaged for a better future for deprived children in Southeast-Asia, the poorest of the poor. In cooperation with local partners they implement model projects and personally accompany them for success.
