Our team consists of three crazy American and one English tourists (CAT), wearing crazy looking hats. That is where we got our name catinhat. I am Kim Haner, probably the most crazy of the three. Joining me will be my wife Mary Haner, hard to persuade but finally convinced. Our third team member is Alan Meilike, agreeable for just about anything. Our forth member is Jonathan Rust, that we had met in Africa on our journey up Mt. Kilimarnjaro.

This adventure was brought to my attention in a hospital room in Des Moines, Iowa. My nephew Adam Jacobs is always looking for new adventures for us to experience. But he couldn't make it on this adventure. The last adventure he got us into was climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro. OH WHAT FUN!

We decided to do this for many reasons. Raising money to help the Frank Waters Project, to help purify the water from waterborne disease. Many children die everyday from waterborne diseases. So we thought it would be a great idea to do the Rickshaw Run across India, to have a little fun while raising money for a great cause. There are a lot of people out there that don't understand where the fun part comes in.

So please join Mary, Alan , Jonathon and I as we journey from Jaisalmer, Rajasthan to Cochin, well over 2000 miles in a rickshaw. We will be updating our blogs day to day. So please feel free to drop us a comment, we will love to hear from you and may need the encouragement.
