We made it to Ulaanbaatar
We made the hardest part of the rally. 210km on dirt, sand roads which was pretty fucked up. Took us 8hours to bayankhongor. Now we sleep in a hotel in Arwaicheer.
Today did a convoi and we made it 200km after Altai. Camp in the middle of nomansland. All tarmac from khovd to altai and also 120km tarmac after altai, then dirt roads.
After a nice stay at blue wolf hostel in olgii, we headed to khovd. First 40km paved and then 200km of dirt road which was a hell of a ride. In the middle we tried to help a spanish team from mongolian charity rallies.
Today, after waiting seven hours at the border between russia and mongolia (where we had to explain why we have five passports for three people), we finally did it:
We made it to Mongolia. Now heading to Ulaanbaatar.
Made some new friends in pawlodar. After that we managed to get to semey and then to russia. Roads to semey are currently under construction -> shit. Border crossing was the easiest do far. Staying at a hotel in Biysk. 9hours to mongolia
Today we had a 17hours drive up to pawlodar. In total we made 1000km which is a great progress regarding to the rosd conditions. Tomorrow we want to cross the russia border.
Headed towards russia along nomansland and then camped near lake balkash. During night our tent nearly was blown away from a storm.
After 5hours of bordercrossing an searching for car insurance we made it to Kazakhstan. Actually having a nice accommendation in Taras including pool.
blablabla
Effective rainforest conservation isn’t about buying trees. Or putting up fences. Or writing petitions to save endangered species. It’s about real people harnessing their own potential to improve and grow. That’s how we keep the rainforest standing. So let’s all work together to build an unbreakable shield that protects the rainforest forever.
