After a long day, and a gruelling 4.5 hour night drive on dangerously dark, dusty, and bumpy terrain, Chitty Chitty Bhang Bhang has just arrived in Goa. It turns out the buses here are far scarier than the trucks when it comes to dealing with wild and unexpected oncoming traffic coming from all sides. Glad to be off the road for a bit now and looking forward to seeing the beach tomorrow!

Made it through the mountains to Chiplun about an hour after sundown. Gorgeous lush vistas on the way. Looking forward to walking over to the temple in the morning.
