Had ourselves a luxurious(ish) hotel for he night. Turned up at the 'Mongol Rally auto service' in the morning to find another 12 cars and Suzi's looking like she's in mint condition compared to these other cars.@

Two days into Mongolia and it is absolutely amazing. As sceneries go, you couldn't get better. And river crossings...so much fun!!!

Day 3 at the Mongolian border, these people just font like paperwork. Can't blame them when there's 30 odd Mongol rally cars waiting.

Made it back into Russia and avoided the border control finding out we we're illegal immigrants (long story, will be explained in blog). A victory Subway and a load of supplies ready for Mongolia!!!
Semey, Kazakhstan
Yet another spot of bad luck. Hit a ruddy big pot hole and damaged our alloy wheel. Then the locking nut snapped trying to get it off. 80 miles with a bent wheel on bad roads we've made it to Semey and have had to weld the nut out. Many thanks to the Friendly Kazakhs once again.

80km from Almaty we discover that ANOTHER wheel bearing has gone. After 30hrs on the road we're here and got the car fixed for free!!!
