Corie Downey lives in Whitehall, MT with her husband of 13 years Levi and their two children Zane 12 and Halle 10. Corie has spent the large majority of her life on the back of a horse. She enjoys riding both English and Western having successfully competed in various disciplines of both. She is competing in the Gaucho Derby not only for the pure joy of an amazing adventure, but also with the hope of encouraging her children to never settle or be afraid of the unknown.

SNöFLINGA, Montana’s Winter Festival, invites our citizens and out of town guests to enjoy the many activities in Butte’s winter playground. During this FREE community sponsored festival, we showcase the fun side of winter. There is something for everyone, with numerous winter activities to choose from. Here is also an opportunity to build a snowman, demo a fat bike, skate on high altitude ice, walk our family friendly trails, try a new sport, and chill out to live music. We also offer multiple races and competitions to test your winter sports skills. SNöFLINGA, where winter equals fun! Money donated to SNoFLINGA goes toward creating bigger and better festivals in the future. All donations are appreciated, no matter how big or small.
