My name is Courtney, im 20yrs old and have been riding horses for a long time now and competing for 5 years.
I am a qualified Veterinary Nurse and have started my business as a horses trainer.
I have been looking for an opportunity to do some good in my life for the past few years. I have spent many hrs scanning through the internet to find anything that will give me that experience but will also help someone/thing along the way.
Then it hit me square in the face.
'The Mongol Derby'
I had never heard about it but was instantly enticed,
1000km on half broke horses, 25 stations, over the tough Mongolian wilderness, 35 riders from around the world. The toughest, longest horse race known to man.
Why not!
All for charity and a once in a life time experience.
But in saying that I wont be sitting back taking in the scenery.
I can't wait to meet everyone in UB im rather excited! its definitely a once in a life time experience and wish everyone the best.
