360km done today. Smashed our way to Surat, happy boys but exhausted. We'll treat ourself to an extra hour in bed tomorrow. Next stop Ahmedabad hopefully. In the land of genuine fake clothes but cant get anything for under 500 rupees as im a pom.

Left Lonavala at 5.30 am trying to have a 300km plus day. Just passing mumbai, not only is the traffic poor but the road surface. Ronnie please get us to surat.
Northern lads mumbling away stories of the roads of india. Hopefully get our brake fixed and pray we make it to mumbai. Its not raining which is a bonus.
Left at 6.30am from setana, still here as we got 1km on the highway and realised our break is broken. Tried to get a mechanic, of course no where is open untill 9am. Bring on mumbai at some point soon!
340km done today. Enjoying a lovely hotel room with beers in hand. Treated ronnie to a wash and saw a typical indian band rehearsing. Lovely end to a quite boring drive.
Stopped for Breakfast/lunch after completing 220km. The chicken meharaja had nothing on the Big Mac. Missing home comforts but happy with the distance covered. Hoping to free up a day to see sights in mumbai!
We were hoping to get to pune tonight but doubt we can, all feeling a bit deflated.
Arrived in Hubbali. Decided to take the scenic route to Jog falls earlier, got there and this was the view. Another long day on the road tomorrow to push for Pune.
Arrived at our hotel. Made it as far as we could in the light after our pretty huge surgery this morning!
Ronnie is in a koyilandy mechanic having surgery all over, parts have to be bought in so could be a slow morning. Eggs on toast for breakfast though. Dream.
Landed, found a posh hotel after last night sleeping under mossy nets in a prison cell room. Had our spark plug cable changed first of all this morning and then our clutch cable. Now fearing the worst for our gear box, poor ronnie is on her last legs. Enjoying the indian fame though.
Heading over to India, not only to have a great time but to raise money for a charity close to our hearts tackling the problem of mental health - an issue that has become worryingly relevant for students.
The team dynamic could be quite interesting between the three of us, with Simon playing buffer to two brothers who have been known to fight in the past.
Paul can't even handle a curry in England, so god knows what is going to happen when we are out there.
A charity that not only helps the person in need but the peers of the person to understand mental health and be able to support that person.
