Three Kiwis and an Aussie! No idea what we are doing but have managed to purchase a suitably crappy car in London, drive it all the way to Prague where it sits in bits awaiting our return!!
Dorothy the nippy little Kangoo carried all four of us all the way to the Berlin Wall!!!
We are four friends who are all very keen travelers and are looking forward to new experiences and challenges that this journey will present. With your help, our aim is to raise money for charities at home and help a few people on the way.
Well we just wanted to do a little bit more… so we are fundraising for our local charities (giving back to local communities) but we also really wanted to raise money to be able to donate to people and communities we meet along the way who are in need of a bit of a boost. That is giving back to the global community that will no doubt help us achieve our goal.
Giving back to our local community is really close to our hearts. That is why we have chosen Aoraki Foundation as one of our local charities. They invest donations so that they continue to give well into the future and in doing so are able to contribute to some amazing funds across areas of Health, Environment, Social Impact and so much more.
Since 2014 BYFH have provided support to and positively engaged with children, young people and families. They manage services and programs aimed at improving the quality of life of young people and families and assisting them to reach their full potential.
Cool Earth works with indigenous communities to help save and protect the rainforests which they live in. We all need these rainforests to remain intact and healthy for the survival of all life on Earth. So it’s a pretty darn good cause to get behind!
