Educate girls strives for better education for Indian children in general and Indian girls in particular. Indian women have a disadvantaged role in society and it is not uncommon that Indian girls don’t go to school to help out in the household or are being sold as child brides. As an NGO, Educate girls focuses on mobilising communities for girl’s education. They strive to enhance the government’s investment in schools and works with a large group of community volunteers to identify, enrol and retain girls that are currently not in school but should be.
