Ell’s Elephants (4th update)
After a zen and revitalising experience at Sardar Patel Farm, Ahmedabad, we made a short drive west to the Little Rann of Kutch. Our Belgian buddies braved a nighttime drive to get this ridiculous sunset shot on the salt flats. We did go too but in the comfort of a 4x4! Wildlife included wild asses and foxes. Tomorrow a mammoth 320km drive due north through the desert to Barmer. A rare early morning start beckons...

Made it to the Mistry family home in Kasbapar, Gujarat. Greeted by a fantastic welcome and awesome chicken, followed by ice creams in Navsari for dessert. Tomorrow onwards to Ahmedabad and an organic farm. Ricky celebrated 80,000km today... happy birthday old boy!

Ell’s Elephants (2nd update)
Sadly we had to leave Goa but had an amazing drive through the hills on day 6. Ricky did finally get his deserved serviced after we did our new PB of 315km in the day. We saw monkeys and a cashew factory as we drove up. Today the plan is Mahabaleshwar and then onto Pune. Less driving and more national park. Fingers crossed we make it up to 1,200m in one piece!
