To Mongolia. 500 bangers racing across deserts, plains, mountains, rivers, along Marco Polo&rsquo;s Silk Route to the heart of Genghis Khan&rsquo;s empire. 8000 miles in a car bought off Ebay for &pound;1200. All 1100cc of it. But&hellip; as the car was so ridiculously expensive, we decided to make the trip slightly more challenging &ndash; and drive it back as well! 16000 miles, two thirds of the way around the world &ndash; aiming to do it in just 8 weeks.</span></p><p style="text-align: justify"><span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif; color: black; font-size: 9pt">Driving night and day, through sandstorms and probably in circles, across Europe, Ukraine, Russia,<span>&nbsp; </span>across the gargantuan Kazakhstan desert (Borat country, with lots of slightly angry looking men with guns), into Siberia, then across the wild west mountains of Mongolia, before tackling the epic Gobi. No back up crews, support or event checkpoints. Or hotels either, dammit. The car slowly being shredded by dirt tracks the map says is a motorway.
