still driving to irkutsk, roads turning into mud. Yet to blow a tyre, but just had to use our £3 air compressor to help local towman with his truck

just spent a couple of days in tomsk. Very nice place. Rained lots. Got some welding done. Worth it just to see the pub advertising 'all night doggery'

actually past yekaterinburg now. Lastnight got 100mph ride through town with local rude boys, drank heavily, got wallet and phone stolen. Soldiering on...
