The Alex Timpson Trust
The Alex Timpson Trust, the official Timpson Group charity is named in honour of Bede's extraordinary grandmother. Alex, along with her husband Sir John, fostered over ninety children. The charity’s main aim is to help schools better respond to the emotional needs of looked after (fostered and adopted) children. The trust is also investing in research into attachment disorder with the University of Oxford's Rees Centre.
