On the The Mongol Rally 2012

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia

10052 miles, 16 countries, 2 continents, 2 charities, £1800 raised, 5 river crossings, 2 deserts, countless mountains, 67 hours in a cage, $50 bribes, towed 4 times, dug out with a garden trowel twice, 3 broken spines, no exhaust, 1 dented roof, 1 mighty yet broken sump-guard, ONE SUZUKI SWIFT, ONE THIRD OF THE PLANET, ONE FINISH LINE, THREE VICTORY BEERS! We made it, thanks so much to everyone for your support, it was insane.

James

Whilst Alex and Mikey have been given the responsibility to research the drink driving limits of about 20 European and Central Asian nations, James (being a student with nothing better to do) will probably end up doing the rest. After spending the first six years after leaving school travelling various corners of the globe, mountaineering, scrapping, skiing and losing teeth, the Mongol Rally seemed the next logical challenge to partake in. Bringing nothing to the team but common sense, a mature hair line, and the lack of a need for parental supervision, the 3 of us combined should be able to cover at least one quarter of all problems that 6 weeks on the road, in the most remote areas we've ever experienced, will throw at us.
