hi everyone! Not so good news I'm afraid, we are 600km from the capital but the chassis of our saxo has come away at the seams over a lot of the rear end, brakes are temporarily working after 1line was split and we bodged it with epoxy metal. Car is sitting with the rear bumper on the floor and struggles to move over most rough road. We think we almost certainly must take a van to Ulanbaataar otherwise we risk breaking the car and wedging the rear wheels solid in the arches, between cities with no way of moving it- a major problem! hi everyone, sorry for lack of updates, just turned phones on n realised we have signal for 1st time in days. Basically we are in altay and are having a coil spring welded to the back of our car to try and fix the suspension for the final 1000km! We have got here after spending nearly 2days stranded in the mountains past Oligiy in heavy snow. We stayed in an abandoned cow shed at 2500m altitude so it was pretty nuts! As long as I have signal ill keep updating until we finish in a couple days time! Bye for now!

rear suspension collapsed last night :( bodge fix for now but needs a proper fix soon, in hotel for tonight with t-man, lars etc, need a good nights drinkin me thinks!!!

baku is a joke, sooo many teams here now and no ferries, useless officials, everyone pretty much hates azerbaijan- seems like everyones employed but no-one does anything! Fun times in prison camp on the dock though haha! @

just heading towards Tblisi, Georgia is a really random country, the people are mixed in terms of their approach to foriegners. The border was crazy, we had a passports checked and double checked a good 10 times at least and you really don't know who to trust! We left the PMS guys in turkey and hope to see them again tonight when they reach Tblisi themselves! Istanbul was amazing- definitly going back there but for now we have to get to Baku asap to see a man in a shed about a boat!

just spent night in Sofia after an epic drive from Novi Sad yesterday! The road down to the Bulgarian border and beyond was unbelievable- winding through rock gulleys and under short tunnels along side an old rail track! The Serbians seem really friendly and welcoming and although they've been chewing the brave pills before they get in their cars, they let you know when they are coming in fast...unlike the Bulgarians who just pin it and hope you see them! Despite having a top speed of 50mph, the PMS boys managed to get done for speeding, however after some exchanging of US dollars they were best chums with the policjia! Sofia turned out to be an absolute ball ache to park so we put the cars in what seemed to be a Mafia run car park for the nig ** some text is missing **

Got into Vienna about 7pm last night, met up with Juhno n George at the hostel then grabbed some eats and drinks, loads of people in the hostel bar so got pretty messy! Been for a gander round Vienna today, its 38degC!!! Betty swollocks! Now convoying towards Budapest, trying to hit Novi Sad in Serbia tonight!

Prague was amazing, stayed in Golden Sickle hostel with a few guys doing all the europe festivals, had a good night out then breakfast near the palladium, next stop- Vienna to meet the PMS boys!

just had a mental time at klenova castle party after flat sticking it all the way from nurburg! Now cruising from klenova to prague for the afternoon n then who knows! :D @
