Last year i got the travel bug... this year it has mutated into an adventure bug.
Lets roll with it!

The Mongol Rally, what kind of craziness is this i hear you say….

In a nutshell its probably the longest road trip you can take in a car thats totally unsuitable for the job. Its an adventure in the truest meaning of the word. There’s 10000 miles to cover, deserts, mountain ranges, maps that will almost definately be wrong, breakdowns and language barriers to content with, all in the name of charity.

Team Genghis Carnage consists of Leon Wright – A Loughborough Physics graduate from Suffolk and all round good guy, and Peter Cain – Aussie born and bred, from Melbourne, a high flying investments analyst. They met whilst travelling in South East Asia last year and both have a taste for adventure!

We now have the mammoth task of raising our target figure of 1500 pounds for two fantastic charities, the Christina Noble Childrens Foundation, and Cancer Research UK. We also have to find a vehicle, no older than 10 years and with an engine size maximum 1.2litre! Then there’s the actual challenge itself!

If you are reading this – please support us and the charities by donating whatever you can throughour justgiving page, the links are on the homepage, and keep checking the website for updates!
