Now comes the tricky bit convincing someone else to to come with me, fortunately this was not a problem at all and out of this Team Gone Walkabout is born<br /><br />So on the 23rd of July 2011 Team Gone Walkabout consisting of Paul van Est, Ash Smolenski and Haley Smolenski will be embarking on a trek across the width of Europe and into Asia, some 16,000 Km in a small 1L hatchback.<br /><br />A grand undertaking in itself you may say, but thats not all along the way we also hope to raise money for the and the Royal Children's Hospital Melbourne, who provide outstanding medical care to many young Australians as well as support for their family's.<br /><br />We are also raising money for the Christina Noble Children's Foundation who work in Children's Healthcare, Education and Community Development in Mongolia and around the world.<br /><br />So from this page we will be sharing our adventure, from the hustle and bussle of Old London town to the Desserts of Kazakhstan and the Steppes of Mongolia.
