Kyzylorda, Kazakhstan
Checking out Aralsk, small fishing village that used to be on the shore of the aral sea. Soviet damming for farming made the entire sea dry up in what some say is the worst ecological disaster of our time. Had birthday drinks the other day in aktobe but was a fairly quiet night.
Atyrau, Kazakhstan
Have made it into kazakhstan and are back on schedule and managed to find a new sim card with phone credit. Recharged the batteries after multiple nights sleeping in the car. Have had the car bogged in a field in russia, blown both headlights and cracked the front windscreen but she still drives like a dream. Camping on the agenda now, 35 degrees every day. Loving it! @
Minsk Province, Belarus
small delay of 4 days after being rejected entry into Belarus. Had to go back to Warsaw and await some original car papers but all good now. Making up for lost time on the motorway but will have to bypass Moscow :(@
Masovian Voivodeship, Poland
about a 900km drive to get to warsaw but eventually made it. Relaxing and sightseeing here today before leaving for our first real border crossing leaving the EU and into belarus.
Pilsen, Czech Republic
just left the campsite for the european launch at klatovy castle, heading now to prague. Had to help some guys out yesterday in an ambulance who stuffed their gear box already. Left them waiting for parts in amberg, germany.
