Himalayan Hijinks haven't posted any updates yet.
2Fat2Furious is what we call ourselves. We have a sense of adventure within us but have never ventured into something this big. Hoping to survive this trail and collecting as much as we can for a charity whilst still making loads of friends along the way.
Introducing the Himalayan Hijinks – a daring crew of ex-pat techies who’ve traded their comfy UK desks for the wildest, most ill-advised adventure India has to offer! We’re a bunch of IT pros by day, but this time, we’re taking a break from debugging code to try and debug a totally unsuitable, three-wheeled contraption that’s more glorified lawnmower than vehicle.
Born in India, but now Brits after 20+ years of tea, scones, and queuing practice, we’ve decided it’s time to reconnect with our roots – by hurtling through the Himalayan mountain passes in a rickshaw that’s as stubborn as a Windows update. We’ve got the 4-stroke model, which means slightly more power than the 2-stroke version, but don’t worry – the tallest mountain range in the world does a fantastic job of making sure this little engine still feels hilariously outmatched. Which, let’s be honest, is exactly why we’re doing this!
Our steed, the indomitable "Tuk-Tuk Titan," might struggle to climb a hill without begging for a reboot, but that won’t stop us. We’re here to tackle hairpin turns, questionable roads, and the kind of potholes that could swallow a small car – all while raising money for charity and having the time of our lives. And yes, there will be chai breaks. Lots of chai breaks.
So, if you fancy watching a group of IT geeks turn into wannabe explorers, driving a vehicle that’s about as suited to mountain passes as a USB drive is to a bonfire, then follow the Himalayan Hijinks. We’re not just in it for the adventure – we’re in it for the chaos, the laughs, and to make a difference, one gloriously misguided kilometer at a time!
Cool Earth
Rainforests are the lungs of our planet, producing oxygen, storing carbon, and housing an incredible diversity of wildlife. But they are under threat like never before. That's where Cool Earth comes in. By partnering with indigenous communities, Cool Earth not only protects these vital ecosystems but also empowers local people to safeguard their futures.
