Day 13

Stayed an extra day in Bekal and relaxed my the pool and got a massage. Set off early for Cochin. Arrived by 4pm ready to cross the finish line tomorrow.

Day 11

Started early and quick 300km from gokarna to bekal. Found a lovely 5 star hotel. May stay for two days

Day 8/9

Party in goa then down to gokarna for beach time

Day 7

Day 7. Dapoli to Malvan. Boats, beaches and bureaucracy.

Day 5

Day 5. 250km. Nice coastal route to Mumbai. Got to our hopes for hotel and found from April 1st no hotel within500-1000m of a highway can serve alcohol. Cue 30km of the busiest road in India to the Four Seasons for a much needed drink and bed #rickshawrun

Day 3

Day 3: Udaiper to Halol. 308km. Temples, trucks and camels. Mad rush to find a hotel in the end before dark. And no beer allowed in Gujarat!

Day 2

Day 2: Jodhpur to Udaiper. 263km. One momentous hill climb. One school visit. One car crash witnessed but arrived safe and sound for a swim and happy hour #rickshawrun #slummingit #schoolrun![Uploading file...]()

D-Day -1

Day after the welcome party. Spent it travelling around jaisalmers autoparts shops collecting gear. Replaced funnel that was lost at the party funnelling beer. That probably also explains the awful hangover. Last blast of glorious air-con and a swim before route planning tonight.
