Hey there! We're Katrine and Philip - the Hitched-Hikers!
On the 3rd of September, we took the plunge, eloped and said "I do" to each other in the beautiful mountains of Georgia (the country, not the state). And then, for some unfathomable reason, we thought there was no better honeymoon than bouncing around on Indian roads on what's basically a lawn mower with aspirations. Beaches and luxury resorts are so last season...right?
They say a couple that adventures together, stays together. We're putting the theory to the test, with our trusty lawn-mower-with-dreams, and an undying belief that this is the best possible start to our happily ever after.
Join us as we laugh in the face of tradition and ride into the sunset (or the next village, whichever comes first).
Cool Earth + The Ocean Cleanup
For those who know us, it's no surprise we're chasing experiences and opportunities to explore our beautiful planet. We recognise how fortunate we are to do this and want future generations to have the same opportunities. But to make that happen, we all need to pitch in to protect our Earth and tackle climate change. That's why, in honour of our wedding and this epic rickshaw adventure, we're raising funds for two causes. First up is Cool-Earth, a charity aimed at halting rainforest destruction. We're also supporting The Ocean Cleanup, a non-profit working to rid our oceans of plastic. To commemorate our wedding and this wild rickshaw adventure, we're raising money for Cool-Earth, an organisation committed to halting rainforest destruction. Our journey is a testament to stepping out of the ordinary and embracing the extraordinary - in marriage and in life. We invite you to join our adventure by donating to one of these incredible charities. After all, love isn't just about connecting with each other; it's about connecting with the world around us. So, as we tie the knot, hit the road, and celebrate the beginning of our new life together, we hope you'll join us in making a difference. Together, we can turn love into action and laughter into a lasting impact.
