Back at the mechanic, this time in Kanpur. Pat drove 50+ km last night with no breaks and we're now replacing possibly the last item of our little tortuga that hasn't yet been replaced. Were able to catch up with our expanded convoy at Hotel Fun City last night and planning to do so in Agra again this evening. Having a fantastic time!

Stopped for the night at a surprisingly nice Jalpaiguri hotel (hot shower!). Much needed after the day: broken clutch, leaking engine, night-time driving, lots of time with local mechanics and being run off the road into a pile of cow shit (not a metaphor).
