limping to Semey after Odd Vortex broke both rear leaf springs yesterday. On the verge of bailing when a group of men turned up, pulling a diesel generator and welding kit out of the boot! Back on the road, but not sure for how long... touch wood all good with Bertha

biggest bodge so far - odd vortex put a huge dent in their sump, broke a shock and cracked their suction filter off. 2-battery welding on the sump worked & is holding so far! Camped in a lovely spot last night and now heading to semey...at 50mph it may take a while!
