Mark Morgan won the race division yesterday afternoon followed by Andrew Scaramanga,Jamie Goodridge and Tom Morgan meaning the race division pilots all finished on the first day... John O'Sullivan came in late last night after engine trouble 30km from the finish line. Simon Walker and Richard Fleming landed this morning meaning it's now just Jason Taylor and Kristianna searching for a weather window to try and finish flying...
Jamie Goodridge first up and holding the lead
Jamie Goodridge is in the lead having taken off first and holding his position for now but Mark Morgan is in second and Jamie's current fuel stop may hand Mark the lead shortly.
Full field of 10 off the line
A brief spell of bugger all wind here at the start line but everyone got away and reports of wind picking up and a bumpy ride for some out there now as they race west to Checkpoint 1. Early retirement for Nick caused by kit issues.
