Day 3 - Water We Doing?

Today was has been an interesting day so far as I'm sure most will end up being. We opted to buy a fourth plane ticket to take us directly from Kolkata to Guwahati instead of suffering through a 21-hour A/C-less buss ride to Shillong. Our flight leaves at 9:00am and I sit here drinking a Kingfisher with my fellow mates celebrating the fact that we made it here without drowning in our vehicle. It has been raining in Kolkata since last night and we had a rude awakening this morning as we realized most of the entire town was completely flooded. Apparently this is normal to the locals and they didn't mind floating us over to the airport (almost literally). More to come soon as we get nearer to the starting gate!
