edging closer!
Not long now and ill be off on the adventure of a lifetime through Mongolia! Definitely don't feel ready in the slightest due to having lack of access to a riding horse most of this year, so had minimal time in the saddle.. My new plan for the ride is to just wing it and hope for the best and that i cross the finish line in reasonably 1 piece haha. nervous as all hell but excited all at the same time BRING IT ON!!
delayed first blog!
So finally getting around to start blogging! It has been an adventure so far just to get to where im at today, and not even close to being in mongolia for the big race yet! Have been battling a few injuries which have had a slight effect on my training for the derby, but its not holding me back pushing through it as best as i can to be ready for the big ride! Have been busy organising fundraising events and getting people to donate. Slowly but surely getting all the funds together that are needed so i can partake in the adventure of a life time! Certainly feel pretty privledged to even be chosen! My first fundraising event was a hit, raised $1200AUD in 2 hours to shave my head for my chosen charity! Pretty big deal right?! Hopefully will get on here again soon to update you all again! For now good bye and chat again soon! :) x
Ive been riding since before I can remember, and my horses are the most important thing in my life, I love them to bits!
I may come accross as shy to begin with but once you get to know me I can be a little on the crazy side, but really who isnt in thier own way?!
