Blind Foundation - New Zealand
The Blind Foundation is New Zealand’s main provider of practical and emotional support for the 12,100 Kiwis who are blind or have low vision, enabling them to face their future with confidence. With a vision of ‘Life without limits – Kahore e Mutunga Ki te Ora’, Blind Foundation staff around the country aim to enable people who are blind or have low vision to be self-reliant and live the life they choose. We equip people with the skills needed to participate fully in society. This includes support in living independently, getting around, using technology, continuing to read and communicate, being socially active and staying in or looking for work. The Blind Foundation’s vital work helping people with sight loss is only possible thanks to the generous support of the public.

Horselands
Horselands began in the early 1980s as an expansion of Chevalier, and now has 3 stores in Auckland and Hamilton. For over 20 years, Horselands has been delivering top quality saddlery to clients both in New Zealand and abroad. Early 2006 brought about a change in ownership for Horselands with Sherry Peko and Angie Gil introducing fresh ideas and bringing a wealth of knowledge to the team. With 20 years business experience, Sherry is well qualified to lead the Horselands team. With her passion and commitment to promoting New Zealand, Horselands proudly showcases unique top quality New Zealand made products alongside other well trusted New Zealand and overseas brands. Upholding its status as a premier supplier of custom made saddlery and rugs, Horselands is well placed to realise Sherry and her team’s vision, delivering New Zealand products to New Zealand riders for New Zealand conditions. As retail manager across the three Horselands stores, Angie has a wide range of knowledge from her 20+ years of horse experience. Horse crazy from a young age, she progressed through the pony club system and has competed predominately in horse trials producing several horses to 2* and intermediate level. Having spent much time abroad visiting international competitions such as Kentucky, Badminton and the Sydney Olympics her knowledge in equestrian retail is strong. Regularly visiting all three branches, she is often on hand to lend her knowledge and assist wherever she can. An Integral part of the Horselands team, resident saddler Mark Corner has extensive knowledge in saddle and tree design and manufacture. Starting in the saddlery trade at Pryors saddlery in Takanini in 1975 he later joined into a business partnership starting Chevalier Equestrian. Mark is available for onsite saddle fittings, repacking and repairs and with factory facilities onsite in Kingsland, Horselands Chevalier is able to offer a comprehensive variety of repairs and custom made goods in canvas and leather. No job is too big or too small.
