Missed connection flight
Unfortunately Babs and I missed our connection flight to Ulaanbatar. We have been waiting for 21 hours at Sheremetyevo. Three more hours to go and then we are taking off to Ulaanbatar. We should be just in time for pre-race training!
Getting ready for the MD
Currently sorting last things out for the Derby. Why is a Gore-Tex raincoat weighting 385 grams? I guess I have to wear it at the start. Hopefully the weather will not be too hot.

It's Never Too Late To Start A Blog
It is never too late to start a blog. I am currently in Denmark training for the Mongol Derby. I am based on a big Icelandic Horse breeding farm ([Facebook](https://www.facebook.com/Stutteri-Hejelte-354435431431168/), [Official Website](http://www.hejelte.dk/)). Pernille Brinch, the owner, has 147 (!) Icelandic Horses. She is very happy that I am trying to ride as many horses as I can. It is a win win situation. Her horses get training, and I am happy I am able to ride as much as I want. She is looking for more people to help her. Please contact her if you are interested. You will get board and room.
