Preparation Update
Preparations are going well.
Most car modification were completed over Easter including a sump guard, roof rack and radiator shield.
We have Uzbek visas and our passports are currently somewhere in the Russian embassy. The last major visa hurdle will be the Mongolian visa.
Getting the car
After Phil picked up the car a couple of days ago, today was the day the rest of us saw the £370 car following the 'interesting' eBay listing. All looked good and we took it down a bumpy road to test its suitability for the Mongolian step. The first of many important meetings followed over a pub lunch.

They support families and care for children and young people with life-threatening conditions across Cambridgeshire, Essex, Norfolk and Suffolk. Their care and support is tailored for the needs of all family members and delivered where the families wish – in their own home, at hospital, in the community or at one of three hospices in Ipswich, Milton and Quidenham.
By developing local livelihoods, their mission is to end the cycle of deforestation entrenching villages into further poverty. Creating strong, self-determining communities – not dependency.
