Vaguely know where we are... Currently riding a truck (car on top) to a city after killing the car over rocky hills! 70km in 2 days. Time is short, exit strategy being considered. Will be very sad to leave but very happy for a bed a shower and a steak. Love to all, see you in the UK!

Left Almaty last night, nearish Russia now we think. Starting to feel the lack of maps! Kazakhstan is cool, although the roads are awful (3 blow outs so far). Camped under the stars last night. Russia today, Mongolia tomorrow!

Just left Tashkent & now @ Kazak border. Had to skip Kyrgyz cus of time :-( windscreen shattered, tyre now strapped to the bonnet the car looks awesome!

Got into Uzbek without paying a bribe! Amazing given the car is a right off. At Bukhara now in a garage getting the bodywork corrected. Cool city!

Dom drove the car into a truck. Front of car is missing but she still runs. @ the Uzbek border now, hoping to get thru in the morn but no visa! All fun

ashgabat is unbelievable, it's not possible to express. Had to leave cus of visas, would stay all year if poss. Headed for uzbek now. Sneaky pics taken!
