Born and bred in Scotland into a non horsey family, I somehow fell in love with ponies at a very early age. I had to beg, steal and borrow ponies, starting in the Show Ring and progressing into the Eventing world and later onto the Point-2-Pointing circuit. The inevitable happened and I was bitten by the Racing bug and found myself working for a couple of Racehorse Trainers in Newmarket. It was during this time, that David swept me off my feet (proposed after 2 and a half weeks) and we were married within a year. Having lived through every second of David’s Mongol experience, I leapt at the chance of having my own adventure. I have never done anything that has REALLY pushed me to my absolute limit - mentally and physically (except childbirth three times!!) and have always longed to visit South America - so this just seemed perfect. I have the best side kick in Louise Daly, that I could ever ask for. VAMONOS!!!
