Rally is over for us :-( Jeep made it to Odessa but that was as far as it was going without a 3rd Engine. Dylan is home and Chris is skipping the Wreck :-)

Limping the last 70 miles to Odesa. Knackered after 3 hour sleep in the Jeep. Exhaust hanging off and ear bendingly loud. Plus it't swealteringly hot!

it's 1:15am local time and we just fixed the rear exhaust bracket with a couple of jubilee clips and 4 zip ties still 170 miles to Odessa. Earl not had a sweetie for ages :-D roads are crap and drivers all come from Luton it seems. Still I got beers :-D but would rather have a munchkin X

Car is a constant worry, burning oil and loosing water. Not good as temps are climbing. Going to have a shot at Odessa and the black Sea and then see

Sun is shining and Vienna is beautiful, car still crap and now seal between gearbox and engine seems be leaking alot. May explain the high oil consumption.

2007 Mongol Rally attempted and had to call it a day in Odessa, Ukraine. Probably the only ralliers ever to have an engine swap and then for that one to go pop too :-) There's always a next time.
