Warmer still.
Warmer still.
Getting warmer.
Here’s a nice pile of rocks we saw today, not quite an elephant, but we’re getting warmer.
Day 1: Fort Kochi (Cochin) to Sholaiarnagar.
Seven hours of driving and a dismal(ly amazing) 127 kms.
No rickshaw breakdowns as of yet, though almost a popped rear tyre on our return from dinner. One phone smashed, which decided to kiss the asphalt mid-wind through the elephant (and crocodile) reserve.
The other featured fella/rickshaw is Mark, the one remaining Chai Boy after his two mates couldn’t make it. When’re convoying until he gets sick of us.
Big day tomorrow, maybe.
One more warm beer and some self loathing laughs about the ambitious idea to do triple the distance today, then sleep.
Also a little special needs and forgot to link the tracking app. Apologies.
Two mates who've dreamt of doing this run for some time now.
Finally, our calendars have aligned and we cannot wait.
