After more shite weather and an epic descent through the mountains we’ve reached the finish line. But not without problem. Carol’s bike was very sassy this morning and Ben’s chain snapped requiring a tow the last 3km. Gang in high spirits.

Cold. Wet. Sick. Very excited. Only 66km left. For some reason we’re less motivated to check out the waterfalls of Immouzer. Going to go through the Atlas Mountains one last time. The road to Taghazout through Paradise Valley has come highly recommended to us. Gang in questionable spirits.
Sit rep: 9:15pm local time. Gang decided to split up in Amskroud while Ben’s bike was repaired. What we thought was a 12km ride turned out to be 45km. It went dark, began to rain and then turned to blizzard as we traversed the Atlas Mountains. Everyone made it to Hotel Amalou in Immouzer. But barely. Gang currently holed up under many blankets. Will be a story for the ages.
Bens rear tire (borrowed from a wheelbarrow) has a large growth on the side. Stopped on the side of the road maybe 6km from Amskroud.
Made it to Amskroud. Ben’s bike sounds like someone put a brick inside a washing machine. Losing daylight and destination is still unknown.
Sit rep: 11am local time. Gang is moving slow after a night of celebrating monkey Larissa’s 30th. Instead of heading straight to the finish we’ve decided to head into the mountains in search of a waterfall that may or may not exist. I don’t know our destination.
Have acquired both a hair dryer and a bronchial infection. Not sure which is more useful in attempting to dry out my pants.
Had a go at laundering our clothes last night. We had them out to dry and it rained all night. Clothes now wetter than an otter’s pocket.
Made it to Taroudant!!! We found an amazing Dar. Dar Tourkia. The gang is elated to have hot showers and word on the street is there is wine and beer on premise. Gang in good spirits.
Sit Rep: Drove through miles of orange groves, olive farms, and argon plantations before a pit stop in Arazene. Only 30km left to Toradaunt.
