Nothing in our lives have prepared us for this; and nothing ever will. Our dreams might be crazy but we will share them with you.
The Riverwest Co-op Café opened in October 2004. The Café has earned a great reputation throughout the city for offering delicious vegetarian and vegan fare and has received positive reviews in the local media. The café prides itself on using the same local, organic ingredients in our food that we sell in our store.
The Roman Coin is a friendly, affordable neighborhood tavern which has been family owned and operated since 1966. It is housed in an original 1890 Pabst Brewery Tavern building, designed by Pabst Theater architect, Otto Strack. In 2002, the Roman Coin had extensive renovation. All of the windows, covered since 1970, were reopened. The heavy oak wall panels, wainscoting and hardwood floors, that had been covered for more than 40 years, were exposed and refinished. The Roman Coin is a classic example of a Milwaukee "corner bar" with a pool table, video and pinball game but also has the modern amenities of free WiFi, internet jukebox, satellite radio and 3 flat screen televisions.
