We've made it to Kochi! We we're the 24th team to cross the finish line @ ~6:45 last night. A total of 3100km measured by our trusty Rickshaw Odometer... who knows how far that actually is!? The run home wasn't completely trouble free, with a gear cable failure about 40km out of Kochi and a toilet emergency 15km out. The cable was quickly 'repaired' by Adam and myself and the old girl got us home! We dined in style and feasted on some amazing seafood fare last night with our mates and fellow richshawers 'curry on driving', followed by some impromptu Indian playground antics.

It's so damn hooot, a whole litre of ice-cream was a bad choice! We're staying by the beach in Kannur, nice little place but no a/c. Im not gonna lie, it's a sweat fest in here! 3 other teams have found this place too, obviously the beach appealed to them also. Early morning swim on the cards then one final push to the finish line. See you all in Cochin!

Just arrived in a small town called Hemmadi. We planned to make it to Udupi today but the night driving started to get a bit dodgy -seen as our headlight didn't work and the road turned to shit! We chilled on the beach all day yesterday. Had a late start along with a throttle cable snapping and the carby fucking out - all in a days Rickshaw'n! Another 300km in the bank

Just had a wicked feed and a few brews after another long day on the road. We only made it to Belgaum as we had a few issues with the rickshaw today, nothing we couldn't fix though and she is now running better than ever. We will be heading to Goa early(ish) so we can lay on the beach in preparation for the big party tomorrow night!@

Today started with a nice run around the quiet villages here in Sobahn. This was follwed by a drive around the countryside and into Surat (by car not rickshaw), which included a visit to my favourite beach/rubbish dump. We met many locals and I played some cricket in the street with the kids. However the majority of the day was spent gorging! Has been an awesome day and we are so lucky and grateful to have been treated so well here. Thank you Patel family! We are going to attempt the drive to Pune tomorrow.

Just arrived in Vadodara after another long day which started at 4am. The roads were much better than our last driving stint so we still managed almost 400km. We're ready for a big feast now and a good nights sleep! Planning on a short trip to Surat tomorrow. We spent yesterday in Udaipur, sorting a few things out and having a look around the city - amazing buildings and views across the lake!
