Almaty, Kazakhstan
In Kazakhstan, over 8000miles completed. Have had dinner with an Uzbek family, been invited into a private screening at a 5D cinema, mobbed at border crossings & driven many hrs only to get bounced at another border crossing arrrgh! Fun times :)
Khorezm Province, Uzbekistan
Iran and Turkmenistan completed! Ashgabat is the strangest city we've ever visited. We've run out of fuel once, signed tiger posters, been asked to photograph gold teethed women & slept next to a burning gas crater. Fun times!@
Doğubeyazıt, Turkey
Have been stuck at the Iranian border for 3hrs now, there is a problem with the computer systems. Could be in for a long night :(
Izmir, Turkey
3,300miles done. Got a big 13hr drive today to get to capadoicia for some fairy chimney time & ballooning. Whoop!
Eceabat, Turkey
Finally made it to Turkey! At ANZAC cove, such a beautiful place with such a sad history :(
Zlatograd, Bulgaria
Drove 12 hours today because we decided we fancied some time on the Greek coast. Arrived at Bulgaria-Greek border crossing at 9pm to find it's only open to EU passport holders, next nearest crossing 4hrs away. Fail.
Kragujevac, Serbia
Another awesome campsite, this time in the wild back country of Serbia. Locals had no idea what to make of us and we had no idea what to make of them haha@
Central Serbia, Serbia
8 countries and 1 Romanian speeding fine later we are now in Belgrade. Passports have finally come out of the bags, bet you didn't know you could travel 1600 miles through Europe from London on a wing & a prayer!@
Lower Austria, Austria
All going well, Dorothy is a superstar. Beer fest & party in a czech castle were both loads of fun. Got our first ambulance crew back on the road with our apparently awesome knowledge of cars.
Baden-Württemberg, Germany
Day 3, have diverted course by 700kms to attend a German beer festival, spent the night sleeping in a multi story car park and we've lost Luke...it appears the rally has begun.@
