Russian roads generally awesome but the bit of road around kansk shocking. 3 miles dirt track without leaving 1st gear!

Yes, mossies do like gherkins. Now 850km from irkutsk. Lots of forest and mushroom sellers. Excitement for today- saw first proper campsite since turkey!

left the others in Barnaul. Heading through russia towards irkutsk without a map. Camping in a field full of fat mosquitoes. eating gherkins.

nr Barnaul. Holly has just had her 80000 mile birthday. Chassis still holding, fingers crossed.

2nd break in chassis made worse by kazakh 'roads'. Steering stiff and changing gear hard work. Heading for mongolia regardless.
