I love it when a plan comes together ......

Visit to high peak to buy an Austin A35 van. 

The weekend started with the theft of my wallet between Liverpool airport and the train station. I managed to get some emergency cash from my bank but this delayed me so that I couldn't buy the car on Saturday (I needed to go to another bank branch to get the money and I was too late). Not having too much cash, I was looking for a bed and breakfast. It turned out that the guy I was buying the car from was the caretaker for Whalley Hall, a "non denominational religious community"who do a mean line in B&B for 25 quid a night (and throw in a roast dinner in the evening). In any case I was served breakfast by Rev. David and spent Sunday discussing diverse topics with father Jamie.
